Although the Japan Dreamscapes (JDS) Winter Photo Tour Season is just beginning with the annual photo adventure to Hokkaido on the horizon, we at JDS are already thinking about the next season and the ephemeral blossoms that it will bring.
Seeing the first buds and shoots of green peeking through the gradually melting snow is nature’s reminder that spring will soon arrive, almost like a seasonal early warning system to prepare yourself for changing temperatures and more glorious sun to really start the greenery of spring.
The Vernal Equinox is allegedly the marker for the beginning of spring, when the daytime and nighttime are exactly the same length, but we at JDS measure the beginning of spring by a different phenomenon, the first cherry blossoms. With offices all over Japan, it means our Japan Photo Tour Leaders can repeatedly enjoy the emergence of spring.
All over the Japan, the sakura reach full blossom at different times depending on their location. The upcoming Cherry Blossom tour in April is an amazing opportunity to travel across Japan and see some of the most awe inspiring cherry blossoms that Japan has to offer. Space is limited on the tour, so book your spot now!
